And finally, for today’s Sketch of the Day. here is the top panel of this Perfect Storm page with the figures penciled and the backgrounds partially inked. Why ink just the backgrounds you ask? Well, I’m still not 100% sure how I want to handle the figures, so I’m going to save those for later.

And today we are back to the children’s book illustrations! Oddly enough, I’m quite happy with this one, if only because of the old car salesman’s face. Since I never intended to draw children’s books I never really developed a style to do them in, so all of my work on these has been trial and error. This was the first one where I sort of nailed what i wanted in the first pass… On the guys face that is. The reason this is going up at 6pm is because I struggled with everything else!!!
